Alright, so today was all about the grind to score those Boston Celtics vs Knicks tickets. Man, I knew it was gonna be tough, those rivalry games always are.
Woke up early, coffee brewing like my life depended on it, because ticket sales were starting at 10 AM sharp. Hopped online right at 9:55 AM, fingers ready. Refreshed like a madman when that clock hit ten.
Instant problem. The dang ticket site was moving slower than molasses in January. Pages taking forever to load, buttons just spinning. Felt like everyone in Boston was hammering that site at once. I swear I could hear my computer fan crying.

Finally got through to the ticket selection screen maybe 15 minutes later, heart pounding. Scrolled like crazy looking for anything decent that didn't require selling a kidney. Upper bowl? Gone. Lower baseline? Already disappearing before my eyes. Prices starting way higher than I remembered too. Classic "hot game" tax.
Spotted a pair in the corner of the balcony. Not the best view, but hey, atmosphere matters more at the Garden sometimes. Clicked them faster than Jayson Tatum drives the lane. Screen froze. Actual panic set in.
Refreshed the cart page... maybe fifty times? Finally got that sweet, sweet confirmation screen. Slammed my card info in there faster than I've ever typed. Double, triple-checked the section and row number. Smashed the "purchase" button like it insulted my family.
Hallelujah. Order confirmation email pops up. Phew. What a ride. Here's the ugly details:
- Ended up getting Section 324, Row 12. Up high, but we're in the building!
- Scored two tickets. Bringing my nephew, his first real game.
- Price hurt. Like, deep cut hurt. Fees on fees on fees. Ticket sites are highway robbers.
- Total process took almost 35 minutes of pure adrenaline clicking and sweating.
Mission accomplished, barely. Feel like I just ran a marathon. See you at the Garden! Can't wait for the boos when the Knicks walk in.
